The Vet Tech Institute of Houston’s program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA).

Graduates of the Vet Tech Institute are eligible to take the Veterinary Technician National Exam, which is required to become a registered veterinary technician.

Vet Tech Institute of Houston is also accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).
